We collect personal, employment, payroll, attendance, and identity information necessary to operate the payroll and HR services offered through PayrollEdge. This includes name, contact details, PAN, Aadhaar, UAN, ESIC, bank account details, biometric attendance data, salary information, and system access logs.
Data is used to authenticate users, compute salaries, process statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, IT), generate payslips, manage leaves and attendance, comply with Indian labour and taxation laws, and provide audit trails.
Information is shared only with your employer's authorized administrators, statutory authorities (EPFO, ESIC, Income Tax Department), and payment processors as required for payroll operations. We never sell personal data.
Records are retained for the duration of employment and for the statutory retention period thereafter (typically 8 years for payroll records under Indian law).
Data is stored with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is controlled through role-based permissions, row-level security policies, and monitored login history.
You may request access, correction, or export of your personal data through your administrator or the profile downloads section.
